Louis Hébert and Marie Rollet Monument — Québec City, Québec 1600's
Louis Hébert and his wife, Marie Rollet, were among the earliest French settlers of New France. Their granddaughter, Marie Fournier, married Pierre Blanchet in 1670. The 1946 Blanchet family book states that the Blanchet's of North America descend from Pierre and Marie and therefore from Louis Hébert and Marie Rollet as well.

Pierre Blanchet & Marie Fournier Memorial — Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec
Erecting of this memorial to Pierre Blanchet and Marie Fournier in 1996 on ancestral Blanchet family land at Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec. Pierre Blanchet and Marie Fournier were married in Québec in 1670 and became the founding couple of the Blanchet and Blanchette family line in North America. Uncle Fred Blanchette, cousin Tony, cousin Gabriella, and Hub Blanchette. Pierre and Marie donated land for the construction of a church nearby.

First Settlers of Québec Memorial Plaque — Québec City, Québec
This memorial plaque honors the early settlers of Québec. which includes Louis Hébert and Marie Rollet. Marie Fournier who married Pierre Blanchet was the granddaughter of Louis Hebert and Marie Rolette.

Jules Blanchette and Clara Rheault — Lowell, Massachusetts 1883
Jules Blanchette married Clara Rheault. Her twin sister Anna Marie Rheault married Laurent Blanchette the brother of Jules. Anna Marie and Laurent had 15 children. I have not been able to find any record of Clara and Jules having children. I found an obituary on Clara which may explain why. Clara and Anna Marie her twin were born in Lowell, MA.

Napoleon Blanchet and Sophie Sylvestre Tingwick Quebec1800's. Also visited father of Sophie grave site. There were houses build over the cemetery. The Nap is short for Napoleon

Spanish Commandant Louis Blanchette home and seat of Government
Louis Blanchette (French Fur Trader) appointed Spanish Commandant of St Charles area from 1769 until his death in 1793. That is an amazing 24 years. There is evidence that he was in the area starting in approx. 1759 fur trading and getting married. He was originally from L'Islet-sur-Mer, Quebec, Canada.

Louis Rheault and Odelie Ducharme (Quebec) daughter married Laurent Blanchette
Louis Rheault and Odelie Ducharme from Tingwick Quebec immigrated to Lowell MA. where their daughters (twins) Anna Marie and Rosa were born. Anna Marie married Laurent Blanchette and Rosa married his brother Jules. FYI, As I gazed over 20 feet or so see the grave marker for Napoleon Blanchet and Sophie Sylvester parents of Laurent Blanchet. So 2 sets of my great-grandparents facing each other. They knew each other. were they friends...good friends??
